How do I connect FTTN and FTTC systems?

If your home is connected via FTTN (Fibre to the Node) or FTTC (Fibre to the Curb), your internet connection will be delivered through the telephone (DSL) line inside your home.

Connecting Your Modem

  1. Locate the Internet wall point inside your home.

  2. Using the grey telephone cable supplied in your service provider’s modem kit:

    • Plug one end into the Internet port on the wall

    • Plug the other end into the DSL port on the back of your modem

  3. Connect the modem’s power supply and switch it on.

  4. Allow up to 5 minutes for the modem to establish a connection.

Once connected, the DSL or Internet light on your modem should become solid (this may vary depending on the modem model).

If the connection does not establish after 10 minutes, please contact your Internet Service Provider for further assistance.
