How do I connect NBN FTTP and HFC systems?
If your home is connected via FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) or HFC (Hybrid Fibre Coaxial), your internet service is delivered through an NBN connection device installed inside your home.
Connecting Your Modem
Locate the Internet wall point (connected to your NBN connection device).
-
Using an Ethernet cable:
Plug one end into the Internet port on the wall
Plug the other end into the WAN port on the back of your modem
Connect the modem’s power supply and switch it on.
Allow up to 5 minutes for the modem to establish a connection.
Once connected, the Internet light on your modem should become solid (this may vary depending on the modem model).
If the connection does not establish after 10 minutes, please contact your Internet Service Provider for further assistance.
