What is a tie cable?

If you have built a 2-storey house and your Smart Wiring panel is located upstairs, Intelligent Home will install 2 cables from the garage to the Smart Wiring panel. The main reason for this is to send the internet signal from the connection point in the garage to the Smart Wiring panel without running the NBN internal conduit up to the second storey.
