What are security guard callouts?

As part of your alarm monitoring service, Integrated Monitoring Services partners with Southern Cross Security to provide security guard patrol responses when required.

A guard callout can be requested as part of your alarm response plan if your alarm is triggered.

What Happens During a Guard Callout?

If a guard is dispatched:

• They will attend your property to investigate the alarm activation.

• They will inspect the exterior of the premises for signs of forced entry or suspicious activity.

• If someone is found on site, the guard will not engage directly.

• The guard will contact Police and observe from a safe position.

Are There Any Costs Involved?

Yes. Guard callouts incur a standard attendance fee, which may vary depending on your location.

Additional charges may apply if:

• The guard is required to remain on site longer than the initial 20-minute attendance period.

• Multiple attendances are required.
