Sonos: My Sonos is not working, what do I do?
If your Sonos system has stopped working or is not responding, follow the troubleshooting steps below before booking a service call.
Step 1: Power Cycle the Sonos Unit
The first and most effective step is to reboot the Sonos device.
Turn the Sonos unit off at the power point.
Wait at least 10 seconds.
Turn the power back on.
Allow the unit a minute to fully restart and reconnect to the network.
In many cases, this will resolve temporary network or software issues.
Step 2: Check the Sonos App
After restarting the unit:
Open the Sonos app.
Check if the system appears online.
Try playing audio to confirm functionality.
Step 3: If the Issue Persists
If your Sonos system is still not working after a restart, please contact Intelligent Home to arrange a service appointment.
